Brand Identity

Project for 500 years of Belarusian book printing. The project shows history of a first published book, which happened in Prague 500 years ago, in 1517. This book was printed by Francysk Skaryna and gave a start to the Belarusian book printing. It is of a world significance and is included in the calendar of memorable dates of UNESCO. The project includes print materials for advertising. Problem: Create print materials for promotion of 500th anniversary of the Belarusian book printing for the National Library in Minsk. Solution: The Identity was shaped by using contrast between large and small shapes of typography and white space to show the power of type. The composition builds relationships between typography and clean space through contrast in size, angle, and value of elements to create hierarchical separation.
